It's that time of the year again, 27 days and we'll be embarking on our four night, three day canoe camping adventure. Last year it was just Jes and I for the first day, and a combination of rough water, rock, and tree flipped us. Thankfully, we were able to recover the items we needed to make the rest of the trip. Our Eton radio did not survive. RIP. So I'm shopping for a new crank/solar radio for the trip, it will be the only electronic device besides an emergency phone. Anybody have a recommendation? The Eton was ok, but wasn't very loud at all. I had the small (160) version. I've looked at Kaito, does anybody have any experience with that brand? We need small size, good reception, and the solar/crank feature.

Oh p.s., the budget would be less than $100.00...
