Thanks John, and unless you pointed that out I wouldn't have known much less even care. I don't look at post counts, kinda meaningless, don't even know why we keep track of them. Anyway, the forum has given me way more than I it. I appreciate the membership around here and the tons of people who help out way above and beyond whats considered normal. Polk Audio has been a stand up company over the years as well as this forum and it's members. It's that combination that makes this place special and rarely found in the big world wide web.
We have more characters around here than a Monty Python movie and that makes this place fun as well.
So how about we celebrate all who take the time to help others along their journey, yourself included John. It's the effort put out by many, many members that makes all of this work.

Have fun at 10K, Tony. I did, however, notice that John is nipping at your heels! lol As he steamrolls to 10K and sails past you. So is this just a "set up", John?

In any case, some very nice sentiments in Tony's response. I couldn't agree more.

That's alot of involvement when your post count hits that number. But your count happened with 6.5 years of more time than Johns. But it doesn't matter around here to much anymore whether your a vet. or a newby, as long as we make sense or joke around when we post or respond.

Thanks for your posts around here!!

Without involvement, the clubhouse would be kinda empty most of the time.
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

Hopefully, he will forgive me for trying to put him in a "nursing home" with that petition going around here and all.

They dunked my head under water a few times, and I said some things I should not have said.

Your a funny guy Pep. Nursing home my arse. I may be old but not that old my friend. Besides, like I said in my PM, find me a nursing home that has Napa wines, west coast oysters, Mario Batali as the chef, and will let you run around naked and I'll race all of you there. 'Till then, I'll have to get by with out Mario Batali.:wink:

Back atcha Pep, the honor is all mine, getting to know you and alot of newer guys along with the old farts that keep me spitting coffee on my computer screen keeps me grounded in that of the many things we deem important, having friends of character is way up on that list. You my friend, are one of them. That btw doesn't get you off the hook either. Paybacks a ****:cheesygrin:

    LOL !!
Antny brother, I have one, just not the one I imagined as a kid, like most of you other old farts. Still, good audio, good food, good wine, a good wife, good health, good kids, and a decent crap every so often and you start counting your blessings. Those thoughts of being a ****/rock star have long gone down the tubes.

I hear you, paesan. I have found the same as I've aged.

As far as the rockstar/pornstar thing? Well, lets just say my voice might not be what it used to be, but...:wink::cheesygrin:
