How does this sound?

Would a Harman Kardon AVR 230 with Infinity Primus 360's for fronts(towers) and 160's for surround with a C-25 center sound good for music and ht?any polk ones same price sound better? Need suggestions on a moderately priced sub too. Thanks in advance.

    Knowing your speaker budget would help. It's kind of difficult to recommend a speaker if we don't know how much you can afford.

    Up to $800 on fronts, going to get them first with receiver then upgrade rears, center,and sub later.

    I've never been a big Infinity fan, so take my comments with a grain of salt. You've probably found that the Polk speakers are going to cost a bit more than the Infinities your looking at. But I think you'll find that a matched room full of Polks is hard to beat. If you have to, save up and get the Polks. Doloar for dollar, they are tough to beat. Note for note they sound better than alot of the more expensive speakers available today.

    Go to Yahoo Shopping and type in the model number. Cheaper you will find.

    Don't forget to make sure that it is an authorized retailer before you buy (almost zero online will be). When you buy from unauthorized dealers you forfeit the five year manufacturer's warranty. Also you will want to require the speaker shipment be insured in case of damage.
