Wyred 4 Sound Dac 2 question w/J rivers

Using J River media and Win/7and did the step by step guide W4S but missing something. I am hooked up using PC USB to dac>>>to direct to Amp>>>to speakers I can hear computer test tones through speakers but not music. Music is ripped FLAC, current setting wasapi, I have tried kernal streaming....what else????

Have SPDIF/USB unmuted, and music will play through PC speakers

    Neverbeenmind settings to not take effect till you stop track and restart....track was playing and I was waiting for music to pop out of speakers
