Nice bird.....don't get me wrong as I'm a big advocate for hunters and all, but you spent 3 days out lurking in the woods like Elmer Fudd for one bird ? With the time invested, you could have bought a nice beef tenderloin.:cheesygrin:HT SYSTEM-

Very nice !
Really cool how you took your daughter out, too. I'm sure you've let her know, "Well, he wasn't as big as your's, but .... " :biggrin:Sal Palooza -

That is a good looking bird. Nice ATV and pup too!
I'm conflicted about hunting. I love guns, and I love the physical action of hunting prey, (so fun! and stimulating to so many parts of the brain!) but there's a part of me that wants to let things live. I'm not a effing vegetarian or anything, not that there's anything wrong with that, and I get that the meat I eat comes from animals being killed one way or another, but there's something about robbing life from an otherwise wild creature that makes me regret having killed.
To sum up, I have no problems with hunting whatsoever, and I will hunt during my life; I just can't help but to feel remorseful about killing wild animals. out.2-Channel: PC > Schiit Eitr > Audio Research DAC-8 > Audio Research LS-26 > Pass Labs X-250.5 > Magnepan 3.7's

Great bird, and a fantastic way to spend time with the little ones.
Falconcry, I deer hunted from childhood until my disability robbed me of that, i have to say, it always bugged me when i bagged a young buck or doe.
Now it did not bug me enought to refrain from enjoying the tenderloin from a frying pan with potatos and onions right in camp, and i never felt bad bagging a big old buck, but i know what you mean.humpty dumpty was pushed
