Actually several questions..

1. Does this amp run hot? Would it be ok to install in a closed cabinet?
2. What about mixing speaker impedance? I have 4 ohm mains and 8 ohm center and surrounds. Would this be an issue?

Thanks!

No problems on all counts. These amps tend to run stone cold... what series amp do you have?

Thanks for the info! I don't have one, but I am considering one. It's one of the 200x5 @ 8 models. How many different series are there?

What he said! You should be just fine all the way around. They have several series and the older signature models come in 17" & 19" models. I have a 19" 405wpc signature amp and it has never even gotten warm even after running all day long.

I had this particular model for a while and it never ran hot, warm at most! I used it to power Lsi15's, Lsi9's and LsiC and it barely broke a sweat.
