Parasound AMP HCA-2200

I would be grateful if anyone might know any recent Agon sale prices for a used Parasound HCA-2200? This would be for a potential craigslist purchase. The seller is claiming original ownership and excellent condition. The asking price is $650.00. I am thinking this piece should trade in the +/- $450.00 range. I'd like to have my facts straight before I inquire. Thank you in advance.

Is it the HCA-2200 II or the original? If it's the original, I'd agree with you probably. If it's the II and in excellent condition, $650 would be understandable as that amp is very nice. I had one for a while a couple years back before I went to an A21, and honestly couldn't really tell much difference. Both were John Curl designs I believe. The original 2200 isn't from what I understand ...ALL BOXED UP for a while until I save up for a new place

Thanks PrazVT.
It is the HCA-2200, not the HCA 2200 II. Sounds like $450.00 would be a fair deal?
How about $350.00 for a used Parasound HCA-1200 mkII?
Thanks!
