Got message on phone tonight that an item I had listed just sold. Well I haven't even listed anything for sale on ebay for a long time. Checked my account and sure enough it said I sold an android tablet and bought 3 other items. Said the buyees funds won't be available for 16 days. Had to call ebay and they luckily found out everything very fast and blocked the computer, contacted the sellers of the items and did whatever else that needs to be done and said they will keep me updated. Also had to change all emails, passwords, etc.. Good thing I caught that fast, all the transactions happened just tonight.

Yeah I haven't even bought or sold anything on ebay in a very long time. No clue how it happened, just glad I caught it right away as it happened.

Haven't had a problem with getting scammed, but their rate increases are making me want to take my business elsewhere. By the time eBay and Paypal take their share it can be almost 20% of the selling price. To hell with that.

Right, because it couldn't ever happen on any other internet site.
