Recently I bought a set of Monitor 12 series 2 speakers with the SL2500 tweets in them. They seem to be a solid tweet. I know the replacement tweets are the RDO-198's. My questions is would there be a major difference upgrading to the RDO-198's. The SL3000's would be considered a better tweet. It is interesting if I went with the RDO's that it seems you would jump two spots in the pecking order of the vintage tweets. I wonder why Polk just did not put in SL3000's in Monitor 12 series 2 speakers.
