Selling my Oppo BDP-83 of 2+ years, which I recently replaced with the BDP-93 while it was out for repair. The loader died recently, causing intermittent skipping during Blu-ray movies, so I paid for out-of-warranty service and the unit was just returned to me today with a newly replaced loader and the latest firmware. I opened the box just long enough to snap a couple of pics (which is why the new drive still has the protective plastic on it), and below is a snap of the repair notice showing that the loader was replaced (which should give the unit a 90 day warranty from that point).
I'd put condition at 9+/10, as it has nary a scuff on it and is about as close to mint condition as it could be (especially considering it has a new loader now). Unit was placed in my equipment stand and never moved other than unplugging HDMI cable maybe three times for cable routing purposes. All original packaging, tote bag, manual, remote (never used), batteries, cables, etc. NOTE: I'm not including the Spears & Munsil or AIX sampler discs that came with it, as I still use them for my 93. Asking $320 shipped ground in CONUS. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

The loader died in 2 years? Wow, I have Sony player I bought used (CDP) that's 18 years old and plays any CD disc [and a JVC CDP that is 21 years old (same deal)] "flawlessly"! Go figure!
And my cheap-sxit Apex 1000 (first DVD player I ever bought) more than a decade ago. No skips, no problems and not exactly the "best" construction, if you know what I mean. I'm surprised the vaunted Oppo went down so easily. But perhaps that is an exception?
In any case, nice picture and sound quality on this unit!
GLWTS!

Don't look at that as a flaw in Oppo's construction... Look at that as a flaw in how much I used the thing. 'Cause I put some serious miles on that loader! Blu-ray, DVD, DVD-Audio, SACD, DTS discs, some discs of MP3s... It was my go-to player. When it "died", it was actually still playing discs... Just with intermittent skips that became annoying. I spent $100 with shipping to have it fixed, knowing that I was just going to pass it on to someone else here on the cheap.
So rest assured that you'd be getting a near-perfect unit if you buy this. I took great care of it, and with the new loader in it replacing the only mechanical part that wears, you can bet you'll get a long life out of it.Equipment list:

Nope... no discs come with the 93. Oppo still offers them for sale on their site though.
I could probably live without the Spears & Munsil disc 'cause I have the AVS 709HD disc to fall back on... but the AIX disc has very nice test tones in 7.1 that I use on a regular basis, as well as cross-channel phase tests that help with tweaking speaker distances.Equipment list:
