I came across these Polks on Craigslist and was wondering if they were legit. http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/ele/2974025148.html There is no model number, but I think they are of the Monitor 10 variety, but I have never seen an inset tweeter. Thanks for your help.

Those are early generation Monitor 10's w/peerless tweeters. Very desireable to most. All the tweeters were inset like that, except perhaps the peerless were a tad flatter. I would say because they are a tad flatter and the angle of the camera for the photo they appear to be more inset than a normal Monitor 10, but they are all the same.

The Peerless tweeters should be roughly flush with the baffle; cf. this closeup photo of one of my Monitor 7As.
