A little confused about drivers in the CRS+

I took a pair of 1986 CRS+ blade/blade speakers and threw a pair of SDA-2BTL crossovers in them along with the RD0-198 tweets and 2B drivers.

Here is where I'm confused.

The 1986 CRS+ used the MW6510 for both stereo and dimensional speakers.
The 1987 CRS+ used the MW6503 for the stereo driver and the MW6511 for the dimensional.
The 1989 CRS+ used the MW6510 for the stereo driver and the MW6511 for the dimensional.

The SDA-2BTL's used the MW6503 for the stereo driver and the MW6511 for the dimensional.

SO, since I threw the 2BTL crossovers in the CRS+'s, WHICH stereo driver should I use in them? The MW610 OR the MW6503? I did some research and although similar, they ARE in fact different.

What's confusing is I know both the CRS+ and 2B's used the same crossover's, but clearly different drivers were used through the years in both speakers. Which one is correct?

I just tried to figure that out in my head and ended up with my brain spinning! I would go with the 6503's though, seems like the more "proper" choice since you have a TL crossover in there. I could be very wrong here.

The 6510 for the stereo and the 6511 for the dimensional.

That is how the later version SDA 2B is.

No, the 1989 SDA 2B uses the 6503 and 6511. The reason the 1989 SDA CRS+ uses the 6510 instead of the 6503 is likely related to cabinet volume.

    Great, thanks guys!

I did switch in the MW6503 last night and the mid bass was more pronounced but the mid-highs became harsh. Weird.

Going to switch in the MW6510's!
