Hello,
I am in the works for a home theater setup. I am building a system with some pro audio equipment, but not sure of a speaker/amp setup I should use. I am making a rackmount setup with a media server.
This is the preamp setup no matter what poweramp setup I end up going with.
Channel 1
Audio Technica turntable
Behiringer tube powered parametric equalizer
Channel 2
TV
Channel 3
Output of the Media server (for internet radio)
I am running these channels througn a rackmount mixer, then through a rackmount equalizer with a sub output.
for the power amp section, I have 3 Options,
Option 1: 2x RTi A7s powered by a Crown XLS 1500 with an output of 300 watts per channel.
Option 2: 2x RTI A9s powered by a Crown XLS 2000 with an output of 375 watts per channel.
Option 3: 2x RTI A9s powered by a Crown XLS 2000 with an output of 440 watts per channel.
I will also be attaching a PSW125 sub to the equalizer sub output. The sub output has a variable crossover setting I can set.
I attached a floor plan of my home I just built. TV is in the room closest to the front door
