Just wanted to share what my HT looks like.
It's more of a living room than HT but I
think it is a good intigration of the wife's
decorating style and descreet HT.

DCP00886.JPG

and the back of the room, the RT600i's
are in the far corners and the CS245i is
on the window ledge.

DCP00879.JPG

It's not 100% ideal for HT but it's home,
its good looking and it sounds good,
IMHO

Too bad you can't move out the mains. Do you have cement under your carpet or wood flooring?

The floors are wood over crawl space. If I could move them out I would but there is no way to really get them spaced like they should be.

There also isn't a ideal sitting position but with some tweaking with the radio shack sound meter I was able to get a good balance.

Excellent use of your space without blocking any windows. I'll bet you get a pretty good image from the 800i's and your only a few feet from the laptop. I thought at first the RPTV was to high but your room in the second pic shows a lot of depth so you found a win/win.

    Very nice room!

Head on over to Lowes and get ya two landscaping stones. I got two of the thickest they had 16X16 stones. About six bucks total. I put them under the sub and the bass tightened up considerably. It's the cheapest and most effective sub upgrade when you have space under your wood floors. It makes placement tweaking a bit of a hassle but totally worth it.

Vr3MxStyler2k3, I cant see how a room that small with that much stuff in it would work as a HT. Looks like you have some nice gear but you need to move it to another room in the house.

So is mine, mine would look alot more organized if it was the size of yours. Trust me though, it is more organized than the pictures put off.

I honestly don't find yours that neat, i see junk laying all over the floor in the second pic......;)

    Oh yeah!

I don't like everything new in my system. However, I will put my stacked combo against any single RT800i or RTi70 or RTi8, etc, without haste. That is how good I find it.

Anyways, I need a bigger room though. The room at my Dad's will be huge. To bad it will be sporting the Advent rig and not the Polk rig.

The only stipulation I had from the wife was the TV had to fit on our current stand. I found that 46" rear projection Mitsubishi HDTV gave me 1/8 of an inch on each side. A perfect fit!

The stand/base was actually a base for a large entertainment center armoire, we just never bought the top cubbard part.
