Just sold my rti 12's and looking into getting a set of lsi?s. I came across a set of lsi's with center that are two years old and wondering if the warranty is transferable or pay extra 200.00 for brand new set from sound distributors. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I don't think they are transferable, but with that being said. Unless you really overdrive the Lsi's with lots of distortion they are pretty solid speakers.

You could also look at Polks Ebay store for refurbed speakers.

If you are using the B&K to power them, then you shouldn't have an issue unless you play at insane levels. Since you really haven't given us anything about how or where you will use these and with what gear it's hard to say. LSi issues usually come from abuse or lack of knowledge not from defective parts. No warranty will cover abuse.

If I look at you sig and assume this is for HT and you are using the Onk as the processor and the B&K for power, you shouldn't have an issue. Warranty is not transferable, but Polk is one of the best in the industry with customer service, they will take care of you.

As long as they're from an authorized dealer and within the warranty period you shouldn't have a problem. They took care of my CS1 I got off craigslist because it was from newegg and only a few months old.
