I am looking for a pair of bi-pole/di-pole speakers. RTi F/X, LSi F/X, etc.

Polk is the preferred brand (wife wants all the speaker badges to match), but I am open to other manufactures....

Must be black in color.

    LSi 15's, LSiC.

Obviously prefer the LSi F/X's, but wanting to see whats out there. I will be posting a picture of our new setup here shortly but where I want to mount the speakers I need them to be flush to the wall as possible....

there are plenty of lsi f/x on ebay.

and your wife is right, you need to timbre match. even in the surrounds. There are more and more movies with surround dialogue. And modern games even more so, if you're into that sort of thing.

Here are some crappy iPhone pics. Please do not comment on cable management as that hasnt really happened yet lol.

Here is a pic of the fullish layout

I figured the surrounds could be mounted on this little half wall above the thermostat

And then on the wall a bit inside the light switch locations.

That puts both speakers almost in line with the main listening position (couch). I plan to hang them both about 5 feet from the floor.

I have about 10 feet behind the couch that is just open space so you can walk from the kitchen straight out to the patio.

    My apartments floorplan is below:

Yeah, I keep thinking that as well. Polks site still has them for 550 and I believe there is a used pair on the forum for 4 something.

If I were you I'd go LSiFX. I think I've got pics on the forum in one of the FS threads. Mine are cheaper though.

Yeah.... I am working hard to follow this new philosophy "Do it once, do it RIGHT". I dont want to keep incrementally upgrading lol.

My main focus in on the HT right right now. New amp, speaker cables to match my IC's and speakers.

My car and office setup (headphones) come last and honestly I am debating picking up the headphones over car speakers.........

I do have a birthday coming up here soon though.....

So I think I will probably pass on your speakers Skip. I might still be in contact about the other stuff though

I know, I just think you're selling yourself short when there are other amps out there as good or better for the price. But I understand having your mind set on something.
