The ad just says MONITOR SERIES 2. I tried to figure this out but could'nt. Any idea what they are worth? They are asking $250. The speaker on the right.

Monitor 12's and no, IMO they aren't worth $250. Maybe $150 because they are rarer. They aren't that fantastic sounding. I can think of just about all other M speakers I'd rather purchase over the M12's. More of a party type speaker, not as bad as say Cerwin Vega or Bose or Infinity. Just not up to the usual wonderful sound of a "classic" Polk.

The one on the left is a cheapo Pioneer from the mid nineties, The middle one is a Cerwin Vega and the one on the right is in fact a Polk Monitor 12. All three are pretty bad house sounding speakers. If you like bump bump than any of them will do the trick.

I wouldn't pay more than 150 for the Monitor 12's and you couldn't give me the other two.
