Opinions on RT2000p speakers
Anyone have opinions on RT2000p speakers? What is a fair price to pay if all working and good cosmetics? Thanks for any info. Have a CS400i for center.

I owned a pair and thought they were fantastic speakers! Very heavy at about 85lbs each! If both subs are working, and they look good, i'd pay $350-450 for them!"Everything I ever did in my life worthwhile I caught hell for"

I've got 2 pair and they sound great! I paid 350 for one pair (got the other pair for 100 bucks.............it felt like I was robbing him!).

Thanks. What about a psw12? Is $100 a good price?

I think the weak spot are the amps... I think the Polk's sub amps are not repairable for the RT2000P if they fail, rendering the speaker practically useless should they fail.

The RT3000p is the speaker with the known amp issues...
Rarely hear of the 2000p having issues...- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
I've had both the 2000p's and 3000p's, never a problem with either one but both should be fairly long in the tooth by now. The 2000p's were just OK for me, better than the 1000p's which I thought was one of Polk's worst efforts. The 3000p's I probably held onto longer than any other Polk speaker I owned.HT SYSTEM-

Hell yeah! Make sure it's in good condition and that it's working properly.
