what can i do to improve?

So to start off i am a young man that is poor and i have always been into stereos but now that me and my wife just moved into our first house i have started building my first home theater system. My system includes the following

receiver- Yamaha htr-5760
front speakers- rti 150
sub- definitive technology power sub 1000 10' sub with a 10' bass radiator
center- CSi A4
rear- (this is where i ran out of money lol) 1 FXi A6
other rear- i don't know what it is please look at the included picture and let me know. btw it was free :)
monster cable the thick flat white ones for the speakers.
optical cable from blu ray to receiver

This system is half for movies half for music.
I asked so many questions that i had to go back and number them all so i could get them all answered. :)
(1)So what can I do to improve my experience?(2) I am thinking that getting another FXi A6 surround would probably be a good idea.(3)but what about going to 6.1 or 7.1(4) and can i make small steps to get there? (5) and it seems like 6.1 was just a phase but is bridging the back rear 2 surrounds to a center channel or a FXi A6 is that a good idea for a temporary improvement? because ideally 3 more FXi A6 would be best i would imigine but is(6) that my only option? I think i eventually want to upgrade my center to a CSI A6 thats why i am asking about bridging the rear surrounds to a center because i will have a CSi A4 left over if i upgrade.(7) Also i have heard that the rti 150 get a lot better with more power, i have been looking up differnt amps on Google but they are all vary expensive. It seems like a 2 or 3 channel amp for my 2 fronts or 3 fronts seems to be the best bet leaving the receiver to power the rear surrounds.(8) Can someone point me in the dirrection of a best bang for your buck 3 channel amp? (9)And how much of an improvement will adding a amp to the rti 150 actually give me?

the pictures are bad but the FXi A6 is in the right corner and i am thinking about putting the back center in that den or the 2 back surrounds in the den.(10) I also don't think i have the speakers position as well as they could be for 5.1 or a future 6 or 7.1 so please help and THANKS

first off how about cable management? your center channel would benefit if it was below the TV seems way too high....
your front channels would sound better if pulled away from walls especially the left is too close to the side wall. To be honest that whole set up around the fireplace is probably not the best for sound and vision.

first of all the cables dont normally look like that im just adjusting and i just got my power sub 1000 that has to be fixed so please dont pay much attention to the mess :)
i think this is the only other option for this room to put the tv in the middle of this open wall thing on the right side of the room by the computer which i would move of course

By the way, it looks like your speaker might be this model.

I would knock out the wall of that dining room and put my AV gear on the far wall, get rid of the sectional that is way too big for your house size and create two living areas on either end of the bigger room you just created. Anything else is just a cluster.

    Well you asked.........

I would switch the gear rack and the left speaker. Also, pull both speakers out a bit so the fireplace is not between then toe them in a tick. Will help for imaging. Looks like you don't have many options for the center, but if the wife would let you mount a bracket on the front of the mantle, that would be the way to go.

yea i can mount the brakey on the mantel but i think i am going to raise the tv up 8 or so inches to be able to put the center on the mantel

If it was me, I would forget about putting all that in a small area by the fireplace.

I would get some kind of shades/curtains first off to tame the glare in that room and maybe put the system on a stand infront of the windows and turn that couch, get rid of the desk and stick that in the other ajoining room. With the backside of the tv against the window, you'll cut down on reflections and will also be viewable from the kitchen. You'll have plenty of room to put the gear on a stand and place the speakers.
