Your thoughts on the "soundbar 6000"

I have no need to have my ears blasted off with the starwars theme, or get blown out of my chair with explosions.

I'm just looking to get better sound and dialog, then what you get from a stock plasma. The new room i'm putting the 50" plasma in is 12x14....it's 12 feet wide. There will be about 3 nice recliners in there.

With the "SDA" type surround thing going on. I think this should more then meets my needs. No wires and speakers hanging off the walls. It would seem to work for me. Dose anybody have this system?...do you like it? Do you find any faults with it???

    I had a chance to demo one and was impressed with the sound quality. I know some may say I was hearing things but when I watched "master and commander" I actually turned my head several times looking for where the sound was coming from.
    I used it in my bedroom (14x 20) with a 42" plasma. It did not match my HT system but it was light years better than the tv speakers. It also had the WAF because if its size. I have other priorities right now but have been keeping my eyes open to see if one comes up on polks ebay site.

    We got a Sony Google Tv for the bedroom and we got a Zvox 555 Z base for enhancing your sound this one sounds pretty nice 75 watt amplifier built in the base with a built in Subwoofer theres even a Sub out if you choose to add a sub in the rear, your Tv sits on top of the base and also has a dimensional sound to it gunshots and crashes seem to come from the left or right of the unit gets pretty loud and sounds good for sure, check one out if you get a chance.
