    Thanks F1, not much interested in the opinion though. I have 3 of the UPA1 and I think they're excellent. I assume you've owned or auditioned them?

    Considering that almost all amps are more expensive than those, yeah I guess so. :razz:

    I guess I just don't want to pay for the "chocolately" <insert low/mid/highs> that true audiophiles can discern. Such creatures are truly higher order beings with more money than logic.

    While I would never argue that there are better amps, I also recognize that you're waiting for me to say that these amps are of great audio value, which of course translates to qualified poor sound. No. The amp stands on its own merit and is a neutral amp with excellent reproduction. I don't need more power or better specs.

    Now, do you have one to sell me? No - then kindly allow this thread to die.
