I sure am... never had a more boring day with nothing to do. I hate days like this.

Guess I'll just keep drinking.

It's a glorious boring day at my house.

Sunday chores are done, groceries put away - and now it is a warm day on the back porch, tunes playing thru the door, doing some gardening, some reading, and something nice to drink.

Looking forward to later to fire up the BBQ for some Korean ribs, more tunes, and another nice drink....

Just got back from the gym and downed a 400 calorie 32 gram protein bar. How's that for an Easter feast?

Actually I don't celebrate, but if I were to, it would NOT be till next week!

I got up and went for a four mile hike, came home and did a couple of those dad/husband things that always pop up. I then went out and did some yard work, and just finished a short nap.

I'm thinking about sitting down and watching a movie, and I figure it'll be about time to feast when I'm done.
My equipment sig felt inadequate and deleted itself.

I am finally enjoying it. Found one of our horses was foundered from spring grass this morning and tended to that situation all day.

Now enjoying tunes with homemade pizza, a local organic salad, California Olive Ranch EVO (Bertolli sucks), and a nice glass of Shiraz. I sound snooty but I really ain't. See. I said ain't.

    Have a good one everyone!

Filled up the crock pot, then cut the grass and did other chores around the house. 4 hours later...goodness awaited me in the crock pot!

Time to chill for the evening and throw on Ten Commandments on Blu Ray. I usually watch it every Easter but missed it last year. Can't wait to fire up the Blu Ray!

HAHA when ever the words cotton and tail come together I think the worst!

Anyway....We pulled the boat out today and went through a gallon or so with the pressure washer. Did the Prop service, electrical check and all that. Rotated the tires on my farm truck and then did the trailer. Got the pile ready for the bon fire on Friday the 13th hehe. Barked at the kids to pick up the edible easter basket grass and then helped them eat the candy LOL. now its dinner and the muppets.

Happy Easter all whether you celebrate it traditionally or not. 4th of July is coming and the explosives are under way. Anyone try the Stihl fuel can in a fire? I'll update in the next week. Should be good!
    Too much **** to list....

BTW, Face, if you had posted that video earlier, I would have had something to dream about. Let's try being more considerate next time. The end.

Hey Sal, Buona Pasqua! Looks delicious. My wife made Suplee which she learned from my mom. Delicious! For those that don't know... they are fried rice balls and have a small ball of fresh mozzarella in the middle. In northern Italy they are called "Arancini" and mix in some peas and I think the mozzarella isn't there. They sell these in pizza shops in Italy.

Spent my Easter morning in church. We have a Sunrise service and a breakfast afterward. Then went over to a friends house for lunch. Good times.

Sounds like some of you had a great day. I really need to buy a BBQ this year... I'm jealous looking at all those steaks.

My excitement yesterday was ordering a fuel pump online for my car.

I did some more pool-prep, scubbing calcium lines off my tile with pumice (fun, huh?); and continuing water balancing. We also knocked out some yard work. Bev baked us an Easter ham that was awesome. We were gonna take a drive up to Cochise Stronghold (about an hour away) to scout out some new camp spots--but Bev has been battling bad allergies, so we skipped it for now.

Also had a enjoyable day with the family. Was kinda of a last minute brunch hodge podge thing. You know, when your planning on a quiet day because everyone else is busy, then all of a sudden they become free and decide your house is where they'll all meet up.

So a quick trip to Honey Baked ham late Saturday, threw some bacon wrapped Asperagus on the grill, had some pancakes, bisquits and gravy, bacon, an Egg Strada, toasted bagels with cream cheese/salmon/capers, banana bread, grilled some peaches then drizzled some honey on top. Your standard cookies and lamb shaped cake were also present. Also decided to try Potato's ala Michael Symon. Boil some Yukon Golds, when they are done, you smash them with your palm, then fry them. After that they get tossed into a mixture of mayo/hotsauce/lime zest and juice of a lime/garlic, then top with some chopped green onions. Excellant I might add. Standing rule in my house, nobody leaves hungry.

Before all that, the wife and I were out in the yard hideing easter eggs for the kids. We always have one Golden egg thats harder to find with 5 bucks in it. Stuck that puppy in the pond. I imagine as the kids get older, they'll expect a PS3 to be inside an egg. Good luck on that one. All in all, an enjoyable day.

We do the egg thing too for the kids. Must've been 300 of 'em all over the place. got a nice case of bloated tick and nodded out on the hammock for a couple hours, thanks to some rather tasty Puerto Rican moonshine.
