RIP! What a "long" career and shelf-life Mike had. Though I admired his work, I kept wondering why he didn't "retire" earlier. Andy Rooney was another. Life goes on, and you have to give the "kids" a chance. And also spend some time away from the job--the so-called golden years. They certainly "earned" that time, no?

RIP Mike. I was always a fan of watching Mike interrogate someone. If Mike Wallace was knocking at your door it generally didn't end with said subject being shown in flattering light.
