Local guy is selling a pair of Polk Audio LSi15 Floorstanding Towers Cherry wood for $999.
Is that too high or reasonable?

Look at the "Why are the LSi15's on sale so cheap" thread that someone just updated. Looked...
That guy is dreaming then.
No one will pay him $999 for used pair when one can get them for less than $900 with warranty.

The LSi15's have a 8" woofer.
Is that passive or active?
I wonder how they compare against my AR9 Hi-Res speakers.
Mid and high are similar but AR9's have 12" active woofer.
