Yes, the title certainly has you drooling......

The family seems to gravitate most towards the home theater and I find myself rarely using the 2 channel rig. A new Parasound Halo A51 has brought the SRTs to a whole new level so as much as I hate to let go of any of this gear, I'm going to sell and wait for the kids to get older before I go 2 channel again. Here's what I have:

Polk SDA SRS 2.3TL with Gimpods boards and All Sonicaps/Mills - Nooshinjohn has first dibs so I'm not posting a price just yet.

B&K Reference 20 Pre - In decent shape 7/10 but has a small buzz that gets louder as you turn the volume up while no music is playing. If you're playing music, don't hear it unless you are extremely picky but for that reason, I'll post it for $135 shipped.

Anthem Amp 1 - In great shape for its age. No scratches that I can see. All bias resistors are new. With stock tubes, asking $600 shipped in original box.

Optional tubes for the anthem:

1 Rare Valvo 12AX7 ECC83 45 Degree Getter. See Pic for manufacturing info. When I bought, it tested 1950 Micromhos on the first triode and 1850 Micromhos on the second. $75 plus shipping

2 Telefunken 12AU7 tubes made in w. Germany Tested 2250/2250 by seller when I bought them. $100 plus shipping for both

I have put probably a few hundred hours on the Valvo and Telefunken tubes. Hard to keep track of exact time.

4 Ei EL34 tubes. Used only for a few hours. $90 plus shipping


Marantz SA-15S2 SACD player - MINT! Not a scratch on it. About 2 years old and hasn't skipped once on me on any CD. Original box, remote and manual. Asking $1,100 plus shipping.

One caveat. I'm hesitant to sell the gear until the speakers sell. Paypal Gift or add 3%.

    Funny. That sign kept a lot of cd cases, etc from being set on the CDP and scratching it up. :)

    Newbie here, but own alot of Polk equipment. Long time user at A-Gone and the ugly eBy Place.
    Im interested in the B&K even though it has some issues.
    Can you work with the price a little...I not talking stealing here, but will need to invest the time and parts for repairs
    Perhaps some trades also, I have alot of equipment..

    Congrats on that Halo amp ! In what ways did this amp make a big differance? I have been wanting to get this amp for some time but it is out of my budget right now and I can't seem to find any great buys on this amp on the used gear market. Once I see one on agon or ebay it sells for too much. So the word is out that these halo's are excellant amps. I am a big Parasound fan of the older amps and the Halo series but my 5250 (new classic series)is a little bit brighter than my HCA1500 was. GLWTS:cheesygrin:

    If I could sum it up in a few words, I'd say the Halo is liquid smooth, wonderfully detailed and powerful.
