    It has been my experience that the SDA's tend to be among the best cared for speakers in the vintage world for much of the same reasons you describe, though there are exceptions. If they have been well cared for, they are easily one of the best deals out there. Bottom line is that if they are your dream to own, this place will make those dreams come true. For the coin involved, I would say live the dream man... live the dream!

    I may tend to agree with you. But again..money is also a factor..2K for an SDA -SRS..model unknow...is more then i can pay. Plus i can't pick this up..don't have a car that will do that, so it has to be shipped. These spearkers are massive...you pretty much need a truck to move them.

    Its a wonderful thought, but, im dealing with maybe 1k or alittle more...maybe 1500...if i can get the wife to at least OK the deal...LOL

    Like i would put the 12's up in the TV room....but she dose not know i need a massive amp to run the 12's...LOL

    You can find them in the price range you are looking to be in. Patience is the key, and good things come to those that wait.

    Yes your right. I have seen some on ebay at a decent price. But there pick up only. They just will not ship these..plus the price may be a big one to ship, if they did...LOL

    It's kind of the holy grail of SDA...there are not many out there, and pretty much nobody will ship these......

    Now this may sound stupid..since i've never been able to hear these at all...I tend to think off them as SDA1C's X3
    Or pretty much why would anybody want another speaker....LMAO
    But thats just me..and maybe i'm wrong..and i "assume" too much....
