Classe ssp-300 vs sr6005

Replacing marantz sr6005 with classe ssp-300....though adding more wires in my system but i heard it should bring more music into my system...most of them i ran through PS3 which is connected to currentyly with marantz with hdmi
but for classe will be connected to optical
classe will be connected to the B&k reference 200.2....
question is it a good change? as some one have experience with classe system....
