Polk Monitor 5 PR test has 2 stages?

When the PR is pushed in, the mid driver is pushed out but it has 2 stages.
First, the mid driver is pushed out a lot but instantly goes slightly back and then stays there.
When the PR is released, the mid driver fully goes back in.
Is this normal or should the mid stay on the first stage all along?
I'll post a video if I can capture that properly.

my monitor 5's do the same thing also.2 Channel - Polk SDA-2BTL, Carver TFM-35, Peachtree iDAC, Qobuz streamed via Episode Lynk using bubble UPnP server
