Subwoofer Wiring Question

Hello again. I have a question for you guys. I am going to have two seperate sealed boxes made for the SR124 subs that I have, (for space reasons). My issue is that I am going to be using the PDX M12 one channel amp for my power. With having two seperate boxes I can not wire the two subs together on one set of binding posts because they are not in the same box, and thus I will have a total of 4 wires.( I hope that made sense) However with the amp only being one channel, I dont see the 4 wires fitting inside the clips of the amp. So, my thought is I can us a T style distribution block like this one:

Take the positvie wire from the right sub, and take the positive of the left sub. Put the block like so, T and put one positive wire on one side, and put the other one on the other side. (do this for positive, and negative sides) then put a positive wire at the bottom of the T, and put that into the positive side of the amp. Would this work you think?
Thanks.

You could do what you're describing, but there's really no point. Strip back your wire insulation, section off 1/2 to 1/3 of the exposed copper, and cut it off, then you'll be able to fit two wires into each post on the amp. You're not going to lose any current or conductivity in doing this; there would actually be higher potential signal lost by running through distribution blocks like you're describing.

I was thinking that using the distro blocks would cause signal loss. I thought about stripping the wire like you said, but I will be using 8 gauge wire from knukonceptz, and I think their wire is pretty big. So, I dont know for sure if that will work. Worth a shot though. I could just have the subs put into a box that is together, and call it even, and jump them from there. I wonder though if there is an adaptor that some has made to help with this issue....??? I say that cause a buddy of mine said that some company made a 90 degree angled post thing that you would put in the speaker hole at the amp, and the top of the post had a wing nut so you put all the wires together for a one channel amp. He did not know the name of it, and I have not heard of this. It is a thought as well.

What if I use stackable banana clips at the amp? There are two in mind:

And

I think this will take car of it, but the only concern I have is the size of the actual piece that would insert into the plug in of the amp. Here what I am talking about for reference as far as the amp wire connector:
http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41ke%252BWYuECL._SL500_AA300_.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.amazon.com/Alpine-Speaker-Connector-Series-Amplifiers/dp/B0043XD2LE&usg=__DBNTyIm4rGfsrxmvX1u-cf-VvWU=&h=300&w=300&sz=10&hl=en&start=17&zoom=1&tbnid=38N0M3W17_kwvM:&tbnh=116&tbnw=116&ei=9TGDT57BMMKC2AWJ-83jBg&prev=/search%3Fq%3DAlpine%2BPDX%2BM12%2Bwire%2Bconnector%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DN%26rls%3Dcom.microsoft:en-US%26tbm%3Disch&um=1&itbs=1
I am going to see if I can both wires to fit into one clip, but if I have to I will stack them ontop of each other. Any thoughts on this solution??

Honestly, unless you have money that you just don't want, you're spending it unnecessarily. Unless you have an extremely long run of speaker wire from your amp to your subs, 8 gauge is pretty overkill, especially with the oversized knu wiring. I currently have 16 gauge knu speaker wire running 900 watts from my amp to my SR124. There's a miniscule chance I might see a little more power by swapping up to 12 gauge, but with only a 3 foot run of wire, there should be virtually no difference. You should have no problem cramming two 12 gauge wires into each post on the amp, even if you have to trim the inserted sections down a bit. Unless you're running an excessive length of wire, you won't see any advantage in the 8 gauge over 12.

You know I was tossing up the differences between using the 8 gauge wire, and the 12 gauge, and there is only a 2 gauge difference 1, and 2. If the wire is fairly oversized then the 12 would more or less equate to 10 or 8 gauge of so called normal wire. Going to 12 will also save me money, and worse case I will just solder the wires together, and run it if they wont fit.
