Amplifiers with meeters

Besides sunfire carver, integra, and McIntosh, is there other higher end amplifiers with power meeters or some type of VU meeter? I am thinking about changing amps and i am a sucker for a meeter!

I am actually thinking about trying out a Classe since I have never owned one before but, no meeters!

Please note, by higher end, i am not talking about kenwood, or a pioneer spec type amp.

you can pick up the 505 luxman for 3500$. actually it sounds $$ but if you think about it, 1500 for the pre 1500 for the amp basically if its that good, isnt that outragous...

I heard Walmart will also have Emo gear soon too (that's a joke people......) I don't think the gear will have meters though. Actually I've never heard any Emo gear, so I have no basis of comparison. I just think it's funny how people get so offended about people making comments about Emo gear.

I've always liked the "meeters" on 80's vintage Technics SEA series amplifiers.

I think adding an oscilloscope or two* would be much better than any silly ol' meeter.

    545A.jpg

Vacuum tubed, of course - so much warmer than soiled state...

    * Two for stereo, of course -- imagine... for a HT, one could have a whole bank of Tektronix scopes...

Of course, if a 545A is a little too large for high WAF (SAF)... here are some more subtle alternatives...
