I have to share some frustration because if I don't let it out somewhere I am going to pop! The wife bought some new furniture from Denver Mattress/Furniture Row. AFTER she laid down a sizable amount of cash they said..."Oh I'm sorry ma'am, we double checked and wont be able to deliver that for 3 weeks. Great! Now I have a pissed wife to deal with for a while...So the stuff shows up and the first thing the Bone head does is track mud in my house straight over to one of my 11t's and plop his GD metal clip board down with a thud! OK Now I'm pissed! Day goes on and I don't shoot anyone...I called and got 5hun back and a carpet cleaning..blah blah. So here we are 4 months later. I go to get in bed last night and I hear a funny sound. THOSE DUMB P@#&KS DIDNT PUT THE CROSSMEMBERS IN THE FRAME! So the wife comes in in a playful mood :loneranger: and I have the mattress off the bed looking at the damage. So much for a playful mood . Hows that Cypress Hill Song go? How I could just kill a man? ARRGGGHHH

Alright I'm done. They payed up it's over but I tell ya. Next time the wife...It ain't gonna be Denver Mattress!

You don't have to travel very far, in fact not even beyond our nice little forum, to find idiots galore.

Why are we looking to reduce a subjective experience to objective criteria anyway? The subtleties of music and audio reproduction are for those who appreciate it. Enough with the videos, everybody gets your point. No need to be quite so graphic.
    Thanks!

Let me get this straight. Are you saying that if the fella had the value of his delivery truck wrapped up in a set of crossovers he might have been a little more aware of what he was doing? LOL

I know its not Levinson but come on, it at least says "don't intentionally beat the crap out of me"

I would like to think even if I were not aware of the real value of something I would at least be able to tell someone has a lot of work into it and respect it as such.

We were drinking one night and a guy set his sweaty beer on one of my 1c's. I was in a different room and felt the negative karma. By the time I got back to the living room his wife had the remainder of the moisture wiped off and was heading to the waste basket. Turns out the wife had somehow gotten into a discussion with his wife a few days earlier about my toy. She was vaguely aware of what my rig means to me and was desperately trying to save her husbands behind.

I can't top your awful experience, but I can come close and you have my empathy! I had the displeasure of comming home from a not so good day at work to find that my mother inlaw after unwittingly tracking mud into my house, decided to remove her muddy wet shoes and lay them on top of my SDA1A's. There is no excuse for this behavior, and it simply shows a complete lack of respect. To top it all off, she knows that I invested a significant ammount of time money and effort rebuilding those speakers, and reveneering the cases. Mother inlaws should just go away and stay away!

I would put mine in a different room. Takes me about 4 hours to tear down and set up. Well worth it for the peace of mind in my view.
