3rd time is a charm.
just bought a 2010 Volkswagen CC sport. it has a pretty decent sound stock system. i have a polk audio enclosed 12 that i had in my previous vehicle. is there any way that i can buy an AMP and incorperate it with the sub and my stock system?? a lot of the cars features (blue tooth, voice commands etc.) are set up through the stock stereo system and im not sure how many issues may arrise buy removing it and putting in an aftermarket system. not to mention the additoinal cost.
just curious what my opitions might be to utilize my sub

You can go with a line output converter from Audiocontrol for like $80 or $100. All you need to do is tap your stock speaker wires and send the signal to the LOC. The LOC gives you preamp outputs that will go to the sub amp. I like the audiocontrol LOC's because they have bass restoration circuitry. Basically you're stock HU likely decreases the bass as you turn the volume up (a way to protect factory speakers). The audiocontrol LOCs restore the bass back into the system for you.
A good number of amps have speaker level inputs so that would be an option where you wouldn't need an LOC. Downside is like I mentioned before, if you stock HU decreases bass with volume it won't be the best option.Audison Bit Ten
