yellow light

Ok so i hooked up the pa1200.1 and instead of a green turn on light i got yellow:( also when i play it with the music all i hear is distortion even at low valumes. :((((

Is it the amp? My other amps did not do this. Could it be my rca cables maybe? ???

    I feel like im always picking on you, But you have about 10 different threads about the same amp.

    Just stick to one thread and it will get answered.

    Have you looked in the manual to see what a yellow light means?

    Ditto on the multiple threads, then again you're probably in your teens and I'm used to hyper teens around the house:biggrin:.

    Yellow light means the amp is going into thermal protect mode. Does the yellow light come on as soon as you switch on the amp or does it play normally and then the amp goes into protect mode? Check the electrical connection, the grounding and try turning the gains down. If it still goes into protect mode, disconnect the RCA and then try.
