Fiberglass Sub Enclosure

I have this "dream system" for my WRX wagon that I'd like to have a reality, but you know how that goes
Anyway, with having a wagon, I bought it so I could slap stuff in the back (camping gear, etc) but having subs in a box would take up that space. Now I've got an idea, but it would need a custom fiberglass enclosure. Is this a good material for enclosures? what kind of resonance, if any would I get with having a sub in fiberglass? Oh, and how sturdy is it?
Getting the rest of my Polk system installed the 8th, EX3 components and coaxes... all driven by a Clarion 4 channel amp. Mmmm... gonna sound good!
