I'm still waiting for my svs PB2+ to arrive and i can't wait to listen to it. Yesterday though, a friend mentioned a Martin Logan sub, this one specifically

http://www.martinlogan.com/depth_speaker.html

it would be about the same price as the svs, and i'm just curious to hear from some of the sub experts on how the two would compare

    Small Enclosure, Small Woofer....

Must have alotta EQ in it and probally has alot of distortion, just from reading what Doc has said in the past about subs built/designed like that. Just to give you an idea what you may hear. Sorry if I am wrong....

    Haven't heard it.

Someone over at HTF compared a PB2+ and a Descent (bigger than the Depth) and claims it was no competition - the SVS walked all over it. Again, heresay - not a lot of hard data on the ML subs.

Not sure which model I listened too but for what it is worth, WAS NOT impressed. The one thing that did impress me though was the fact that they (Tweeter's) had a nickle standing on its side, which was placed to the top side of the sub, and at a very high volume, it never flenched. I even moved the nickle to make sure it was not glued down. Make a long story short, cabinet seems of a very strong build. Overall comparison to my PB2+, not a chance.
