I just bought a pair and i have them hooked up to the Denon AVR1312 and I was just wondering why they sound kinda quiet and muffled? Is it because they need to break in? How long? Thanks.

    Welcome to the forum!

My M70's with through a little break in period. Positioning is important, if you have them 7' apart, you want to be about 7-10' away from them. Also, maybe toe them in a bit so the axis crosses in front, at the ear or just behind the listening area.

Not having them too close to the wall, giving a bit of space around the speaker.

Did you set them up yourself or do you have an auto calibration?
