Would Lsi15s work in this room?

I heard the lsi15s are very good speakers, but also very peticular on placement, so maybe someone with a bit of knowledge on these can give some insight.
Here is a picture of the front of my room as it sits now... speakers must remain on that fireplace ledge area, and if you notice there is a shelf right next to right side speaker, so depending if the lsi15 right speaker fires to the right it may be a no go.
The speaker that has really caught my eye is the rti a9, but with such good deals going on the lsi15 on both the ebay store and in the marketplace recently I thought they were worth looking into.

What's your music/HT ratio? I'd say with your AVR and the placement needed i'd personally consider some Rti a9's. Let the others chime in but that's my vote.

Mostly for HT... Maybe 80-85%
If I got the lsi15s I would have to get an amp for them... How are those rti 12s vs the rti a9? I noticed Polk has some 12s on their eBay storePioneer SC-25 | Adcom GFA-555 | KEF q900 Front | KEF q600 Center | Polk Monitor 30 Rear | Polk CS2 Rear Surround | Polk DSWPRO 660wi sub -
I got mine for a STEAL on black friday :cheesy grin:. If you're more geared to Ht anyways, I think some Rti12's would be a great way to go. I've also heard a few people complain about the Lsic for HT use, and you definitely want your front soundstage to be timbre matched.

The ports fire to the sides on the LSi 15's so you need a couple feet to each side or they won't work well.Front - Polk LSiM 705, Center - Polk LSiM 704c, Rear - Polk LSi 7
Subwoofer - Epik Legend
Receiver (as Preamp) - Sony STR-DA3400 ES
Amplifier - Outlaw 7125
Television - 58" Samsung Plasma PN58B860
Blu Ray - OPPO BDP 83 -
Looks like that speaker on the right is sandwiched in there. I would forget the towers since you have a sub, and get the lsim bookies on stands, or at least the lsi9's. Would also take care of that space problem with the footing infront of the fireplace.HT SYSTEM-
