is carver mxr a good reciever

want to buy reciever for SDA 2 speakers...also RTA15 TL speakers....will this power these until i can hook a amp to it....maybe a adcom 200 watt amp...any thoughts...thanx

This should answer your guestions. The receiver has 130 watts per channel so you really don't need any more power but there is a "however" you will read about below.
