will CARVER mxr 130 work

hello all. i got a chane to buy a carver mxr 130....will this unit work for me for now....i have SDA2 speakers for fronts..RTA 15 TL's for rears....will this be a better choice....i have a HK dpr1001 with other speakers. dont want to hook up these beautiful speakers to a 50 watt reciever....can i put a amp on carver later....any advice is good advice....not looking to make my ears bleed. thanx all
