hey guys i have 2 dxi 124 svc 4 ohms, and an alpine mrp 1000.1 and on one of my 12's the wire that goes from the voice coil to the terminal broke so i just bypassed the terminal and now the whole wire broke and was wonder what coud have caused it,im thinking too much extortion where the sub pushes out too much, but i dont know,i know im overpowering but atleast im not underpowering.

When you drive a sub or speaker to hard you end up ripping things like you did. Instead of over driving the subs you have why not buy a larger one that will move more air and will work for what you want better.Absolute corruption empowers absolutely.
