Monitor 70 or Rti70? Opinions please :)

Hello All,
I know I have a similar thread, but it's for different applications. I am building a seperate 7.1 surround and am wondering which would make a better sound stage... Rti70s w/ Csi40, or Monitor 70s w/ Csi1(can upgrade)? I'll likely have Rti70 sides and Rti38 rears w/ klipsch sub-10 sub. I like the monitors clearity, and the fact that they're 3-way is kinda cool... and I haven't exactly been impressed with what I've read about the Rti70s, but I like the solid wood, and build quality of the Rti70s and I know the Rti's are generally better for home theater... it'll be going in a large living room with high ceilings and smooth stone tile. Opinions are absolutely appreciated. Especially if you have experience with these speakers... thanks!!
