$2199 ADS L1230 speakers?

There is ADS L1230 speakers sold at $2199!

What's so special for this set? Am I missing something?

    Honestly almost everything sold through Oaktree Vintage is over priced. L1230's are great speakers but there is no way I would ever pay that for them. I think 900 would be my absolute top on those speakers and I love the sound of ADS speakers. Very easy to listen to and very revealing.

    Yes, I also thought $800~900 would be the top for an absolutely mint pair. By the way, the original price was $1,800 as far as I remember. I love to get one back though.

    Have to agree with Joe. I have some ADS bookshelves that are among my favorites. And I've heard some of the tower models. Although certainly not worth over 2000, they are a set of speakers "worth" experiencing--pretty much as Joe describes them above. These guys do almost "nothing" wrong and are very very "easy" to listen to for long sessions! Almost addicting!
