2012-03-25. Hi all, I need a MW6502 driver. I was told ir can't be fixed with super glue. I found someone who has a 6500 driver for $20.00. Do they sound signifigantly different? I read that the spec are very different and it was stated that they could not sound alike. But I cant seem to find that post again. Can someone point me in the right direction to get a good used 6502?
Thanks Steve.

The specs for the MW6502 are...

    Q - 1.970
    Resistance - 3.520 Ohms
    Fs - 44Hz

I've never seen the specs for the MW6500.

I don't recommend mixing the two and the crossover is specifically designed for that particular driver. You can see from the specs below that, in spite of looking nearly identical, they are quite different. The 6500 and the 6502 both show up fairly frequently here and on ebay.
