Plenty of power for LSi-15s above! Plus I suspect with all the technical expertise that the V-man has that the amp is in "mint" condition. This is an excellent price for a nice, powerful, slightly warm and musical power amp! A top pick in its category.

    Don't think! Buy!

Im considering this amp or an xpa2 for my two channel rig which is lsi15.

Plenty of power for the 15's.

This amp will sound better than the XPA. I've never heard the XPA-2, but I've heard an XPA-5 on LSi's, as well as a Parasound HCA-2200ii on the same LSi's, and the Parasound is more refined. No question for 2-channel music, if you ask me.

Im considering this amp or an xpa2 for my two channel rig which is lsi15. Any thoughts on whether this is enough power for lsi15? I listen very loudly at ref levels. Want that Hca3500 but it is couple months old probably gone.

i recently had and sold an xpa-2 after acquiring a parasaound hca1200 mkll.

the parasound was a much better and musical amplifier and although rated for only 205 wpc it seemed more powerful than the xpa-2. i was using polk 3.1tl's with the amps. the emotiva left me cold and didnt have the soundstage or instrument clarity the parasound did, but that was in my set-up in my room, YMMV. BUT, I would never buy an xpa-2 again.

I'm interested. How old is it? I was thinking of buying an Emotiva, but I've always wanted to try Parasound. I'm just concern about how long it will last and how much it will cost to fix if that happens.

Totally understand . Even locally, someone should be willing to drive 100 miles to come and pick it up from you, I know I would.
