If you haven't already, hold off on donating the RT/FX's. I might have a use for them. Can you post some pics? Do you have the boxes?
Thanks for the interest, but this whole thing has been such a hairball I'm just over it. I also made a public commitment, so I need to keep it.

So you're the guy who keeps scarfing up all the good stuff there! It's just up the street from my house.

Nope, never been there. I just remembered that you live in Peachtree Corners, so I did a location search for the nearest Goodwill.

Gotcha. I do walk through the electronics section occasionally to see what wandered in, but rarely much of interest. I see guys digging through the donated vinyl, but I haven't done it. I'd hate to trash a nice cartridge with a $1 record.

If you haven't already taken these to Goodwill I have a proposal for you. I set my son up with the front 3 (RT600i's and a CS350 center) and these would make for good surrounds. If you will send them to me (I'll pay for shipping) I will make a $50 donation to the Githens Center (CP's fav charity) or the charity of your choice. Thoughts?

Thanks Ken, but they are gone. Hopefully someone will make good use of them.

I always thought that the RT/FXs got short shrift on ratings, but they sounded great to me and can be bought at a reasonable price.

I have been using a pair for longer than I care to mention and never felt the need to kick in any cash to upgrade.
Suits me just fine, I think they do a very good job for smaller HT's.
