    Welcome to club Polk!

    Not sure what a 10m2 room is. Is that 10meters x 2meters?

Maybe that is 10 meters squared which I think converts to ~110 sq feet? So say a 11x10 room in feet which the A5 would should be enough depending on what you are trying to achieve and if it opens to other spaces. Or I could completly wrong....

My friends in Brazil said that is better the rti-a1.
    Thank you so much again!

So the room is about 16.5 x 16.5 and you'll be dedicating about 10x10. So I still think the A5's will do the job. If you want to go with the A1's instead, that should be okay also.

    Perfect!!
The only doubt is if my preference is to listen music instead watch movies, the most advisable is the floorstanding and the subwoofer or the bookshelf and the subwoofer?

If you like the RTiA's and want them for music, maybe consider the A7 and no sub. I use my A9's without a sub and music is great.

Welcome, where are you from? A lot of home theater and audio in general is aesthetics...how stuff looks. The lenticular form of the RTI series speakers is easy on the eyes and can become a focal point of the room. I think the 5's will look very nice and sound fantastic. I have the little guys: RTI-a1's, RTI-A3 and the big boys, RTI-A9's. The 1's and 3's are beautiful but can get lost visually and they lack the double driver of the 5's which should mellow the sound as you have a driver for the lows and a driver for the mids. I find that any speaker box will benefit from more drivers tuned to specific frequencies rather than one driver doing all of the work. I have not heard the A5's but I suspect it will offer better mids and certainly deeper lows. Best of luck and keep asking questions.

for Leandrouduque: You mention "your friends in Brazil"...if you are from Brazil you may that one of the world's largest producer of speakers is located in brazil. I believe it is the second largest supplier of oem speakers to the US speaker industry and I have 2 of the 12" replacement speakers in my old JBL 4411's. The name of the company is Selenium and very well thought of...but buy Polk RTI speakers.

For Geoff4rfc: Your A9's probably sound so good because of your monoprice cables. I'm using mine for 2 channel also and am attempting to wire in a little REL sub...no results yet.

Yes, veddy funny! Make a special won ton soup for him

A guy I work with has an REL and loves it. I've yet to hear it. One of these days, we plan to check out each others systems, conflicting schedules can be a pain. He's got Martin Logan speakers in his set up, looking forward to hearing it.

To the OP, Michael has a good suggestion about the A5's, perhaps those and a sub?
