Amp shopping......help wanted.

Looking to buy a amp. 3 or 5 ch in the $300 - $400 range, used. Little more if needed. Mainly watch blu-ray,digital tv, and play xbox 360. Some 2 ch audio. Any and all help much appreciated. If any more info needed just say.

    In that price range, you need to go used to get something that's a step up from the receiver internal amp.
    Check out the ROTEL RB-985 or the Parasound HCA-1205A. I've had the Parasound before and it was a good amp.

    I have an Adcom GFA-6000 that works well with my LSi's. There's a few on Ebay at your price range.

    You should also check out Audiogon, some other names to look for are B&K, Marantz, NAD, Sherwood. If possible get one with a 12v trigger as it will make your setup easier to use.
