Last week I helped a buddy of mine move from one apartment to another. In the process, he was throwing a lot of stuff he no longer needed into the dumpster. Most of it was junk that no one would want, but there were a few things I told him he should try and sell on eBay, but he couldn't be bothered. Said I could have it if I wanted to try to sell it myself.
One of the items he was tossing was an old Kenwood 5-band EQ from the mid-nineties (best guess), model KGC-4042. It was in good shape and didn't look like it had ever been installed, but still, it's just an old EQ. Anyway, I tossed it up on eBay with a starting bid of $10 and thinking I might make $5 off of it after shipping. With about a day left on the auction, it's up to $142.50!
