Got a Deal on a Marantz CD5300

I've been looking for a Cd player for my new 2 channel rig I have been putting together for my SDA CRS+s, considered the Marantz CD6004, the Cambridge 640c, and the Onkyo Cs5VL. Not many stores left that have single Cd players in stock, happened to go by a store I have'nt been into for a while asked if they had a single Cd player in stock they said probably not when the guy went in the back and brought out a Marantz CD5003 brand new in the box never opened and said its mine for $249 3 year warranty and all, I had my mind set on the Onkyo but could'nt pass up a deal like that. I already own a CD5004 so I was familiar with the sound of the CD5003. I saved some cash and will put it towards the Rotel Inntegrated RA-1520 that I just auditioned.:wink:

    Thanks Precd and congrats yourself, I have owned my CD5004 for over a year and couldnt be happier , the CD5003 is the Model before the 5004 so they both have the same dacs it's pretty much the same player. I couldnt be happier I was not that keen on the Cambridge anyways. I was leaning more to the CD6004 oh well this one will do.

    I almost purchased the CD6004 but do not even own an iPod device. For that matter I don't care about listening to music via a data device at this time. So I passed also.
