Looking for something with the cojones to run my SDA-SRS 1.2tl

    Don't know that Carver. But the Adcom or Parasound would certainly have enough power to do the job. Of course each has its signature sound. A number of people here have run those speakers off the 5802. Perhaps they'll chime in!

    You seek the Sunfire 300/2... there was a Sunfire Signature 600/2 on audiogon along with the 300/2. Either one will work well, ad will give you the ability to get a "tube-like" sound to your tweets, which will help tame some of the harshness the SL's are known for.

    Thanks, John - I saw the a'Gon 300 but got scared away by 0% feedback and 7/10 condition for that price - $850 - what do you think?

    I ended up with a GFA-5802. How do I delete this thread now?
